US and EU users who prioritise a spotless security record — no major hack since 2011 — and want a serious pro-grade trading terminal.
Institutions and funds requiring an SEC-registered venue with segregated qualified custody and audited on-chain reserves.
Active spot traders chasing the deepest global liquidity and the widest listing catalogue outside the US perimeter.
Traders who mix spot and on-chain — the Web3 wallet, DEX aggregator and Ethereum L2 X Layer sit inside the same account as CEX pairs.
Long-horizon EU holders who want the oldest continuously-operating exchange (2011) with conservative listings and full MiCA licensing.
Derivatives-first traders who want tighter perp funding and a maker-friendly fee schedule; accept offshore regulatory footprint.

Aethir is a decentralized cloud infrastructure network that aggregates enterprise-grade GPU capacity from data centers, telcos, and independent operators, then routes that capacity on demand to AI model trainers, inference workloads, and game-streaming clients. The native token is ATH. Unlike consumer GPU sharing protocols, Aethir targets the same tier of hardware—H100s, A100s—that hyperscalers rent for four-figure monthly rates, and it sells access at a steep discount by arbitraging unused capacity sitting dark in co-location facilities around the world.
The project launched its mainnet in mid-2024 and listed ATH on major centralized exchanges shortly after. Backing includes Framework Ventures, Hashkey, and a roster of gaming-focused VCs. The founding team came from enterprise cloud and telecom backgrounds rather than native crypto, which is visible in how the network sources supply: direct contracts with data center operators rather than relying on hobbyist contributors.
The ATH price reflects spot demand for the token, which functions as the settlement currency for compute payments on the network and as a governance and staking instrument for node operators. Live data on this page refreshes every 60 seconds. Price is a volume-weighted average across the venues with the deepest ATH order books.

Aethir splits roles across three node types. Container nodes are the raw GPU machines that run workloads. Checker nodes audit container nodes continuously, sampling outputs and reporting proof-of-work attestations on-chain. Indexer nodes handle discovery and routing, matching demand to the right container based on geography, latency, and hardware spec.
For AI inference use cases, the flow is: a client submits a job, the indexer finds available container capacity that matches the spec, the container runs the model and returns output, a checker validates the result, and ATH settles from the client's escrow to the operator's wallet. Turnaround targets sub-100ms for inference, which puts it in the range needed for real-time applications rather than only batch processing.
For cloud gaming, the model is similar except the output is a video stream rather than model output. Aethir has signed contracts with several Southeast Asian mobile game publishers and telcos who route gaming-as-a-service traffic through the network to lower the cost of their own cloud rendering bills.
ATH has a total supply of 42 billion tokens. The breakdown at launch: roughly 30% to ecosystem and community, 15% to the team (with a long vesting schedule), 15% to investors, and the remainder split across node operator rewards, treasury, and airdrops. The large round number looks alarming at first glance, but per-token price needs to be read alongside fully diluted valuation rather than in isolation.
Node operator economics:
Aethir, Render, and Akash are the three most cited names in decentralized GPU compute, but they target different parts of the stack. Render focuses on GPU rendering for 3D artists and video creators on a per-job credit model; supply comes from consumer and prosumer GPU owners. Akash is a general-purpose decentralized cloud marketplace built on Cosmos, covering CPU, GPU, and storage; supply is heterogeneous.
Aethir's differentiation is the enterprise-only supply side. The network explicitly filters out hobbyist hardware below a compute threshold, which makes it the only DePIN compute play that can realistically quote SLAs to enterprise AI customers. Whether that moat holds as Render and Akash add enterprise tiers is an open question.

Gaming is the early commercial anchor. Aethir has disclosed partnerships with NVIDIA's startup program, several Southeast Asian mobile game publishers, and Telecom Malaysia, which routes gaming-as-a-service traffic through Aethir infrastructure. The telco angle is unusual in DePIN—most protocols rely on crypto-native demand—and gives Aethir a route to recurring fiat-denominated revenue that can be converted to ATH.
On the AI side, the network hosts inference for a growing list of open-source models. The pitch to AI teams is cost: renting an H100 for inference on Aethir runs materially cheaper than AWS or Azure because the supply side is hardware that would otherwise sit idle. Customers pay in ATH or settle in stablecoins that are converted at the protocol level.
For longer-range price scenarios, see the Aethir price forecast.
ATH carries the usual mid-cap DePIN risks plus a few specific to enterprise GPU compute.

Analysis last updated:
Aethir (ATH) trades at $0.004512 with a 24-hour volume of $7.43M and a market capitalization of $90.84M. The asset is currently ranked #279 among all tracked cryptocurrencies.
In the last 24 hours, the ATH price has fallen +2.86%. On a seven-day window, Aethir has climbed +3.37%, showing mixed signals between the short and medium term. Short-term moves are often amplified by liquidity, news flow, and derivatives positioning, so confirm signals across multiple indicators before acting.
Aethir's all-time high of $0.118536 was set on June 12, 2024. The current price sits +96.19% below that peak. Distance from the all-time high is a common reference point when evaluating long recoveries and macro support or resistance.
Buying Aethir (ATH) is a five-step routine once you have picked the right venue and pair. The steps below mirror what most investors do today.
You can also use the Aethir converter above to estimate how much ATH you would get for a given dollar amount before placing the order.
Whether Aethir is a good investment depends on your goals, time horizon, and tolerance for volatility. Like all cryptocurrencies, ATH carries real market risk: prices can rise or fall sharply in a day, and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns.
